Well im heading down the River Swale in the morning so decided to tie up some more little nymphs in a hope to catch some good quality fish.

Picric Quill Nymph

Very nice Andy, they should work a treat.
Tell me this though what's going on with those barbs

Its just where i have pushed the gold heads onto the hook. Doesnt matter though as i always crush the barbs before they get a swim anyway..

Nice tyings Andy, must get some picric acid/dyed materials.

Im finding the picric materials harder and harder to come by recently and the ones i don find are normally very high priced. Alot of the picric stuff i bought was from a mate who dyed it himself and sold it to me cheap.

Once i run out i think ill be paying top price to get hold of more.
