Interested to see what you might think about this creation with slightly more bodywork going on than the average nymph.

My god bruce you don't miss anything do you to be honest I didn't see it myself until you pointed it out, it could be a major factor I suppose, those trout don't miss nowt either

I like the blue Rob, I was going to use chartreuse but don't think red would suit as it looks too green to me.....i will be making flies in monochrome from now on

I used to know a guy who fished almost exclusively with hare's ear nymphs & was very successful with them. Haven't seen or heard of him for a few years as he moved away. A gold-head version of that would be a real killer as well.
