Default Rainbow Buzzer

Had to have a play with Lucians' quills on a few chironomid larvae imitations.

First off the vice was this pair of size 12 hooligans.

Not had much joy fishing with traffic-light patterns, but they might be worth swim in coloured-up water.

Looks like a very tasty buzzer to me, Brownsville. What's the rib, a doubled thread?

Regards,
Johan

Thanks gents. Rib is red stripped peacock quill, from the above named.

It has a black middle band to it.

Just noticed, I screwed up the thread body of the second one. I can't think what's white, and showing through. ........Must be a brain cell.

Looks like it's the stem end of the quill.

A definite fish catcher is that.
Just got some of Lucians quills, will have a go at that one.

Thanks for posting.
