Default Early season dry fly

Tied up one of these hopeing to maybe get an early season brownie. Tied on a kamasan B440 dry fly hook size 12 useing woodcock for the wings and the rest made up of differing shades of olive. Gone for a more wulffe look to the hackle and a chunkier body.

Nice Mark, will work on the Eden, could be a tippet twister though with those wings.

Very nice...

It will surely work for you and you will be able to see it easily on the water with that nice wing (when the wing gets frayed it will still work, maybe work even better).

The only things I would change would be the hook to a pattern without an upturned eye, preferably to a hook with a straight tapered ring eye and the tail I would try to get angled downwards.

Up here in Scotland, the hard work at this time of year is being there when trout are rising. Within these limited windows they tend not to be too fussy. In mild still weather March can be spectacular. Doesn't happen that often though.
