Default Lightening blue charlie muudler

Or MUDDLER even Here's another muddler to inflict upon those who wish to risk a look.
I've used some jay in among the deerhair for a bit of dazzle and rock n roll.
Sorry photo not that good, still working on my backgrounds.

Tied on a kamasan B175 size 10

Thanks for the tip wullie, there's still plenty left for trimming. To look at holding in the hand its actually a very nice fly but I can't seem to get the pic to do it justice and the deerhair's a light olive colour (which doesn't register in the pic) which is a really nice contrast with the jay.

I think that it's stunning but why the very, very long Blue holo tag, no need.
One or two turns of silver or god and i think it would be better, they'll reflect the colours better.

Love the rest though.

Thanks, funny you should say that peepingcaddis (luv that name) but I was going to make it a gold tinsel tag but my gold tinsel has the blue that you see in the pic as a back to it, so I thought it might go with the jay (god I sound like a fashion designer) but yes I agree on reflection that the gold would have been a better way to go (and classier I think) but just thought I'd see what the backing looked like for once.

Yes must make my tags a bit shorter.

Nice tie Mark. One bit of advise re the picture. Try setting your background further away so there's less chance of it being in focus with the shot. The colour's good but the detail picked up by the camera distracts from the fly.

Thanks for the advice stuart, I've been messing about with backgrounds today so I get exactly what you mean, will get there in the end hopefully.
