Default Fly Tying PC Software / Application

I know there was a link posted somewhere about a piece of software for recording your fly tying materials, patterns etc... I have tried the search function on the site however I have not been able to locate it again and was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction. I guess my bolean seach skills are not as good as they used to be.

Thanks

Pete

Pete,

I believe this is the software that was being discussed.
FlySource

I downloaded the software, but have not got round to using it, so can't comment on suitability etc

I downloaded this a while ago. When i double click the icon to use it, a pop up appears saying "FlySource is already running"..........Where?!
I've just looked through my programmes to try and uninstall it, and it isn't there either!
Is it just me?

My program runs ok. But I can't connect to the server. It does say you need to open up port 8001 in your router / firewall. I have done this but still not able to connect. I have emailed the guy for some help.

I also noticed as well that the program does not show in control panel, don't know why. There is a note regarding Windows 7 and Vista, may be worth taking a look at it

As the application appears to be completely java based, you would need to lock for instances of Java running in the task manager to locate it.

I will be playing around with this on the weekend, if I manage to get it all working I will be more than happy to provide some assistance to those that need it.

Also please see: Charity Auction the Hospice Charity Auction. One of the contributers to the collection of flies being auctioned off is Eddie.
