Default Multi Media Dabbler

Been fooling around again boys....

The 'Multi Media Dabbler'

Cramming as many materials into a fly as you can for the hell of it is the antithesis of my fly tying m.o. I'm a firm believer in 'less is more' ...and besides,it's cheaper, quicker and easier!
Patterns that achieve a holistic result from the combination of say 6 or more components are few and far between and they usually end up being to busy, over fussy and sometimes a bit too 'showy'. In my view,to succeed, the busy pattern should,in the end, achieve the impression of there being less components than there actually is... that is,to merge and blend into something that is more than the sum of it's parts while appearing to be less??? (I'll let you lot be the judges on my effort)
Jesus Christ!! What was all that *******s?? Lets face it, I just tried to cram as many of my new materials into a fly as I could for the Hell of it

Nice Flies Scratch, out of interest do you have different light settings on your camera, if so switch from warm setting to cool and you will see a big difference in your pics.
Cheers

i cant get the picture but the dressing sounds not bad
i use a fiery broon dabbler{wing dyed} with the holo red rib to good effect for browns and bows
