Default A Good Wave.

Hi all,

probably the best conditions for fishing this fella, a bit technicolour, but in a subtle kind of way (if such a thing is possible).

That is one busy looking fly.Probably enough materials in there to tie half a dozen flies. How long does it take to knock one of those up?Quite Green Peterish so I'd give it a wetting just the same.
Love the photos, just wish I had a decent camera so that I could post stuff like this.

Thanks atr, it takes about ten minutes to knock one of those up, so yeah there's a bit of faff, especially if it has more hackles. Mind you I tried some spliced wing wets last night, JEEEZ now they were a faff!! Also came to the conclusion they're a waste of time. A fully dressed salmon fly then fair enough, but a winged wet, it just didn't bring anything to the fly and added a massive amount of time splicing different coloured wings together (which more often split again once you pinched the loop )
