Thanks Craigie, they make a good season starting fly - when the water is cold and fish a bit reluctant. Also effective when fishing the "French" style that seems to be the rage in river competition circles

Now you really surprised me: these little guys have brought me lots of fish over the years, but a thought of summer run steealhead never occurred to me. Have to ask my friend Google what is that supposed to entail.

gotta keep my eyes open for new opportunities
