Default help braided snakes

Anyone got a quick and easy way of making braided loops I want to tie some snake flies and im finding it hard to loop on the trebles and form the eye! or would it be ok to use wire and crimp fasten the two ends

Steffan (teifi terrorist) has done a step by step for these in this months ff&ft magazine.

thanks alot fellas I think i will also give my idea of wire crimped both ends as well

Snake fly my way

The above method is easy enough, you can also pull the braid through scoobies or whip to hook shanks.

I think iv got around this problem I am inserting the eye of the hook up into the braid then whipping and varnishing it at the other end I'm doing the same with a swivel this way seems equally strong and looks great so may be iv started a new trend

You might also try dressing a needle. Quick, simple and inexpensive.
