I may be missing something, but i think your 'usual patterns' will do better!

I have been looking for a corixa pattern and this looks the business. I want to continue experimenting, comparing traditional patterns with something along the lines of your fly. To my mind your fly has a combination of sparkle for the air bubble, the brown back of pheasant tail protected by the Bb, red eyes represented by the tying thread and a white belly of .......? and legs of...?
I have tried buoyant patterns on a sinking line to try to represent their almost vertical passage through the water from surface to weed bed, and hope to continue such experiments this year.
Your fly would be a useful addition to my attempts at reaching some sort of conclusion as to the best fly for corixa feeding trout.
Can we have a materials menu please?
