Default Bang wallop fly

Back on a more manly slant thank god. Tied on a kamasan B175 size 10.


Bang wallop fly

Thread - pearsalls orange
Legs - dyed golden olive PT fibres knotted 3 times
Tail - pheasant centre tail fibres dyed golden olive
Rib- fine gold wire
Body - natural and olive hare mixed
Palmered hackle - creamy orange saddlle hackle
First neck hackle - dyed olive english partridge hackle
Second neck hackle - black cock hackle
Cloaked with a darkish coloured partridge hackle

Thanks Ihomme and seanie, will try and get the recipe up, I'm still struggling trying to remember the old girls pancake recipe at the moment.

Do you dye your own feathers, Mark or do you buy them already dyed? This fly looks ambitious, but there again I think the trout will find it irresistible.
