Default Sunburst and orange blob.

As hard as I try, I don't seem able to get to grips with this pattern. They keep turning out like this. Expert advice welcomed.

Brownsville I've been toying with that sort of reflective background to be used as a display feature for a fly recently and you have goaded me on to do a bit more research.
The gag about the blob is super and if you have eyesight like mine there just is a spot of similarity.
But the fly is terrific, particularly taking into consideration the short amount of time you have been tying.
Well done.

since joining this forum i have enjoyed seeing all the dabblers and modern wets posted-some superb tying that has inspired me to try tying some.I will be interested to see how they compare to using blobs at chew and blagdon this season

all the best Nick

Cheers chaps, recipe added. Do it Nick, far more satisfying to tie, even if it doesn't catch fish.
