Default Red letter day

Thanks to the encouragement, advice, freebies, and one-to-one instruction from members on here, I managed to catch the very first, and three more fish, on my own tyings, at Barrow Tanks opening day today.

Cheers chaps, you know who you are.

Nice one Mike! That's a big confidence hurdle to get over, no stopping you now. Long may it continue.

Well done, superb feeling. Keep the first fly you caught on, frame it, sit back and admire

Mike, having seen your buzzers and stuff, I thought you'd been tying for years. Well done.

Thanks chaps, unfortunately I gave away one, and lost the other two, but I took a pic after I'd tied the first one.

On a cold and windy day the fish were down deep so I had to resort to this, size 12.

No BD, thanks anyway, only since October.
