Done some (years ago) but really didn't like playing with that caustic stuff. New thread on the Speypages on using the kids "Koolaide" drink. This is the sugar/flavoring stuff you mix together for a kids drink. Comes in lots of flavors/coulors and who knew???

Heck of it is they make single serving packets that you add to 16 oz of water. Cringe when I say this, but they're damned good over ice.

If you want some info on dying, not mortally, you could do worse than have a chat with Ed at fordsflytying. Ed has recently dyed some pukka peacock eyes. I'm sure he would share his experiences and help, Ed is very approachable .
