All nicely tie Boo
Never tried fishing this style. What is the ratio with the wing is it about the shank length ?

For the flies tied with an upright wing i try to keep it twice the body length, some off the other paterns call for a wing tied flat so about the hook length with some even longer. cheers B

These are beautifully proportioned and uncluttered flies.

One turn of hackle, two at most, either side of the wing and stop before it all gets too busy.
