Default Poor mans Petitjean tool...

I've just settled down to tie some CdC flies with the split thread technique and have left my bulldog clip at work. School boy error.

Has anyone got any tips as to what else can serve the same purpose?

Thanks

Rich

2 bits of stiff card or plastic (old CD case) and a rubber band?
