Default One for fans of "mediocre wet flies"

A heavier dressed (to say the least) version of the palmer from yesterday. Very loosely based on an Invicta, well it has a wing and a bit of jay in there!

Any comments greatfully received.

Mmmmmmmmmmmm mmmm!

How weird... I clocked a very shabby tying of an Invicta on a website the other day, and seeing as the standard Invicta is not my favourite of the family either, I thought I'd have a bash at pimpimg it this weekend.... don't think I'll bother now.

Delightful tie Steve

I like the hackle after the wing. Normally put the wing on last, this seems to give it a softer profile.
