Default which flies would you like to see more examples of?

Just rummaging through my old flybox and was amazed as to the wide variety of flies I had in it, after I'd brushed away the cobwebs. I know people post photos of all sorts of flies on here in dribs and drabs but I wondered if there were any kinds of flies you would like to see more of being posted. When I say flies I mean flies tied by members of the forum. I don't want this thread to go down the road of hot debate like a previous thread I posted, but to try and keep it light hearted with a view to enriching (big word for me that) this section of the forum with more ideas and variety not that there isn't any of this already) and to encourage a wider audience to take more interest. Thanks for reading.

cheers

mark

The flies shown on here are biased towards trout stillwater patterns and then river patterns. Nothing wrong there.
I would like to see some more imitative river patterns myself, but generally perhaps some more salmon and sea trout patterns are due an airing.

Thats interesting maharg as I would also like to see more seatrout and salmon flies being shown on here as I would hope to dabble into that area at some point in time, certainly the hairwing patterns but the more traditional salmon flies being much more specialised and more costly to make would maybe take more persuading. but it would be good to see some of the traditional seatrout and salmon patterns on here.

Personally I do very little in the way of still water or small stream fishing (close to none actually) but do enjoy looking at the fly patterns (especially the step by steps). Have found several that when scaled up have made excellent candidates for low water Steelhead fishing.

That said, several of the AS/ST patterns have become standards that I carry year round. More of that type of fly would be good.

New here.
There seems to be lots of tying stuff 'for such and such'. What's all that about?
It seems to be largely stillwater wet fly central here, with some good stuff and a helluva lot of mediocrity - quantity over quality you might say?

Interesting though!

Lets see how good your flies are then or do you have only one fly thats taken you hours to tie, flies that catch dont have to be quality just look at the imported ones and people catch on them
