Very nicely tied Mr. Jimmy. Is that plain white deer belly? looks almost fluorescent.
Not sure where the Texas part comes from, but Mardi Gras is right around the corner (purple, gold & green)

From the Texas Rose Muddler (yellow) Darwin.Used to be a popular fly over here in the 80s and one of my faves from back then.I just souped it up a bit, replacing the yellow squirrel of the original with some modern synthetic flash. Its still an excellent attractor .....

Aye its a pattern that has a special connection for me Rob, as it accounted for my first ever rainbow trout when fishing from a boat in my early days.....I can still remember that take in my minds eye.Probably one of my earliest recollections of what the power of confidence in a pattern can do.I think every beginner clings onto a pattern like that when first starting out.The Texas was never off my cast for at least a coupla seasons after that.
Its good on any line but excells when they are up on top looking for something to chase....

I had yellow roses when I lived in Dallas. Your version looks much better than what Google showed me Never seen the Angleflash, looking now.
Nice work, Cheers sir
