Troutster, dont know how much tying gear you have but I seems to have loads having sent a packet on it over years.

I use a Stanley 23 inch long metal tool box.

All the threads etc fit in one area neatly

Lots of room underneath for materials etc.

And my post xmas bobbin storage idea with this well known chocolate packaging, if you keep it in the original clear plastic box you can put the lid over them or cut to size to put in drawers etc.

An excellent fly tier is imaginative and innovative. Great idea for storage-Wish I'd have thought of it before I threw out all my Ferrero Rocher boxes!

Ferrero Rocher, euhhhh, horrible things, Probably just bad imho as chewing a chocolate covered bit of wood.

For tool stand you can oasis foam the grey stuff, the green disintergrate easily.

Just put some cling film round it to stop the dust off itI have since cut hole into the side faces and embed some fly clips into it

For threads you could just get some dowel cut it you and hot melt glue it to an old bit of wood

I keep my tying materials in those clear hobby boxes that you can buy from Argos for a few quid.

Stanley portable tool chest. They're normally £39.99, I got 2 of 'em from B&Q at different times for £19.99 each. You just gotta keep an eye on the deals.

Beads, hooks and such in the lid compartments and those are newly tied flees in the handle awaiting sorting out.

Note the Ferrero Rocher box full of wings 'n' things. The wee sizes are great for packets of seals fur. Never use full one's myself but friends know where to send their empties

And yes that is Aaraldite

I know this is silly but it was the only thing I could think of that has wheels.
