Default Bloodworms

Hi everyone-I'm in the mood to tie up a batch of blooworms, but wondered if apart from red, black and olive what other colours would work. I know grayling rather fancy pink, but would it work as a bloodworm and what other colours forumites may have had success with? Thanks

Lime green works with a fast retrieve!

Default Thanks Savage Take and Sharkey P

Yellow and Lime Green sound great colours-can't wait to hear more ideas. Come on any more ideas fly tiers? Will tie up a few later when the footie's on. Maybe experiment with some other colours and see how they look.

Post App's bloodworm

Try tying an App's in pink, olive, yellow and the ubiquitous red, they've all worked for me at some time or other. : whistle:

Hi flytier,

maybe this can give you some ideas:

Buzzer Index - Page 1

Personally I like red for a "blood"worm tough. Or orange...

Default Thanks Guys

Did some experimenting last night-tied up all sorts of colour combos-even purple so next time I get out we'll see what the trout think of them or whatever else is interested
