A couple of dabblers

A green butted dabbler, the head looks enormous, I will try again I think, they look better in the flesh than enlarged, I don't suppose the fish will mind.

Same pattern but in Red

Just need to order some decent Bronze Mallard now

Yep, I think it's only the pants mallard that's holding you back! Looks a little soft and webby. Nice ties though Chris

Rob, the beard hackle with the wing seems to be a minority way of dressing it looking at various images, the proportions are right, more palmering of the hackle needed?

How do you mean, Chris? More turns? Possibly... it does look a little light on the palmering for me, but that's pretty much a taste thing, and how/when you intend to fish it.
