Default Beginners Fly Swap - Number 6 - CdC

Hi All,

I had a good time at my branch of the FDG last night tying some CdC flies and am quite surprised at the different ways it can be used.

So, next swap to be anything and everything Cul de Canard!

So what's your flavour - F-Fly? Shuttlecock? Caddis? Dun?

Same deal as previous swaps - 10 tyers, tying 11 flies, with the extra going to Casting for Recovery Casting for Recovery - Home

Let's get the group confirmed by the end of this week.

Flies to me by the 25th February (as ever, this is a guide, but if we can aim for this, all the better).

Send me a PM or post here if you're interested and what you'll be tying.

Cheers,

Rich

I'll have a go at a Cul-de-Canon, a Gwilym Hughes olive emerger pattern.

Will do Byron.

Anymore for anymore?

Think I might have to stock up on CdC actually... Anyone know of anywhere that sells large CDC feathers?

I'm up for it, never done it before so should be interesting. I haven't decided what I'm tying yet but I'll let you know when I do.
