Default Advice on marabou choice

Hi, apologies if this has been covered elsewhere in the forum but I was hoping for a bit of advice of marabou choice, im new to fly tying but have been getting decent results with the flies ive tried so far, mostly been sticking to simple lures, my question was if anyone could recommend a brand of marabou that offers long fibres - im seeing lures with quite lengthy tails but the marabou Ive tried so far (Turrall & Lureflash), even when stripped right back and tied in with little excess doesnt seem to offer as long a tail as I would like - can anyone recommed marabou with lengthy fibres? Thanks.

Heya,

I get mine from Dave Downie at

Welcome to FFW

nice long fibres and the dying is fantastic, the colours are really vibrant on the sunburst collections. Great service and loads of feathers in the pack, highly recommended!

I agree with lee majors, the Dave Downie marabou is the best I've used.

Sorry to buck the trend. Haven't used Dave Downie's feathers

Usually get mine from lakeland Turkey - Lakeland Fly-Tying Limited
Plenty of options on there.

I must declare an interest here as I help this supplier, but the stuff from Deer Creek - Flash Intro is really excellent. I also help his supplier, who at the moment doesn't have a website.
