Default Why are Drennan Trad wets better than others?

I've seen a few posts stating that Drennan wets are the best blob hook.

What makes them so special over 982's and the like?

Thanks.

The size 10 falls exactly into the maximum hook size limit exactly, without alteration.
If you manage to find a few boxes of that size, the comp' boys will take your arm off.

they fit perfectly into the international gauge, are super sharp and are very strong. There simply isn't another hook available that offers all these qualities. I've tried all the others and they either straighten easily (hyabusa's), offer too big a gape or not enough or need adjustment to fit into the international gauge.
