Default Couple of UV shots

Hi all,

weather is rubbish today so I thought I'd have a dabble at a couple of UV shots. Not as easy as I first thought it would be, as the camera kept trying to 'fix' things. Got there eventually though. Couple in UV and one in (poor ) natural.

Florescence, the shots where taken in a black box with a UV light source and a little supplementary natural light.

Nice shots Stuart it is amazing how the colours look under UV as occasionally use a uv torch to see and its amazing what stands out.

Hi Stuartpengs, Iv'e been dabbling with UV for a couple of months now. Adding UV to a range of flies, more for fish response than anything else.

Iv'e noticed that, you can add too much UV, which seems to scare fish away.

Strands are better than bunches.

These photo's are certainly the way ahead. I think I need to invest in a black light.

Thanks for the insight, excellent.

Best Regards

Stuart

Thumbs up Too Cool by half!

Well done Stu., Well done.

That has to be the best 'here's what it looks like' film I've seen to date. A true 'eye opener!'
