Default CfR - How much for each fly?

Someone asked me recently what CfR received for each fly submitted or batches there of and I haven't a clue.

Now in terms of my flies I appreciate there would be very little received if anything at all.

But wondering if anyone knows how the figures pan out?

Thanks in advance.

I assumed CfR would use them rather than flog them, or give them to their clients to take away to get started fishing elsewhere. CfR used to have a bit on their website saying what kind of flies would be useful to them (didn't see it last time I looked) so I did wonder myself if sending them a dozen different river bugs (say) was going to help them much when they were running courses on stillwaters.

All just my speculation - I'm happy to stand corrected.

Hello Loopy just had a look on the web it appears that CfR means Casting for Recovery and they are asking for flies for the people they help.

Thanks for pointing that out - always assumed thay must be selling them because of the number generated in participating swaps.
