Default Doobry Muddler

Hey guys,

This is my second attempt at a muddler.

Again any advice, comments much appreciated. I'm tying a muddler box for the new season and would like to get better at them.

Many thanks

Still needing a bit of presence behind the deer hair for me DT.....a few turns of orange hen in there would make a big difference.Heres one of mine to give you an idea of what I'm on about.....

I really like the proportions on your efforts wee jimmy. I will dig out the orange hen and have another shot over the weekend. Thanks for the kind words ST, I wish my muddlers were half as good as yours.

No......I believe there's one close to Uranus though....

When I said "heres one of mine", I meant tied by me literally,I was not laying any claim to being the originator of the dressing.....just in case anyone's getting sniffy about a daft fly....

My only intention was to show the OP an example of the proportions that I was trying to get across.

Some nice muddlers Im with wee Jimmy and would prefer a hen hackle collar. The one thing I would say is though is that I thought the Doobry had a hot orange floss tail or am I just being pedantic as I wouldn't want to end up like old grumpy
