dont normally post flys on this bit, my tying can be a bit , er , rough can we say but i thought id share this crackin wee fly, had loads o troot! and the photos good by my standards too, TT's you know what im talkin aboot

that will catch, nice one. as for flies being a bit rough (this one is not) why worry, the fish dont.
some of my best catching flies are mangled to bits and still work. macro shots of flies seem to be breeding too many perfectionists at the vice. its nice to see beautiful proportioned flies but i doubt a trout thinks I am not eating that the thorax is a mill. too long.
presentation of the fly is much more important. lots of great flies on here but what percentage consistently catch fish.
