Default Getting to grips with Bug-Bond

Got a bit courageous and decided to experiment a bit by adding some colour and then finishing them off using the old Bug-Bond.

This was the best of the bunch.

Lovely flies.....

Is the bug bond quite runny before you apply the torch? I can't decide whether to shell out for some or not. I'd only be using it for buzzers.

Nah, it's quite thick and really easy to work with. I'm still learning to tie so using bug-bond is a learning curve as well.

It's definately well worth the money and the good thing about it is there is no waste like you would get with epoxy. You just use what you need. You definately need the pro tips though.

Post Getting to grips with Bug-Bond

I've used both and favour the lite for buzzers as you can push the resin around with a dubbing needle to get the resin where you want it before hitting it with the torch.
Nice flies Keith, keep it up.
