Default Shuttlecock Buzzer

I was at the tying night of my local branch of the Fly Dresers Guild on Wednesday. We were tying these Shuttlecock buzzers. My attempts on the night were not great, but this effort this evening seems to be just about right.

Looks nicely proportioned to me - and that tiny head is a credit too. What kind/size of hook did you use?

That'll keep yer line tight mate Simplicity itself, but not always the easiest thing to get just right. You've done a grand job though.

Cracking little dressing.Well done.
Have you checked to see if it will sit in the water as you plan?
You may find there's not enough CDC in the dressing for that particular hook model. Only a guesstimate, so hope I'm wrong.
Cracking little tying, keep up the neat head work.
