Simple but deadly I bet. I never seem to find quills long enough.

These are just veniard natural eyes. I know what your saying though, it can get a bit tricky towards the eye of the hook.

Lovely ties, guessing you tie the breathers on before pushing the bead over them or do you thread the bead with them?

Cheers Daniel. I just thread the antron through the tungsten bead before sliding it onto the hook.

Yeah it works great as an anchor fly in strong drifts, it turns over well into the wind too.
