Default The kitchen sink

At the end of our 18-man assault on the sea trout lochs of South Uist last autumn I cadged everyone's best fly of the week from them. There was enough of a theme running through the 15 wets (3 were dapping flies) to put together an idea to pin my hopes on when we return later this year...

The kitchen sink...

Tag: med 'Mirage'
Tail: 2 GP crests, one dyed hot red over one natural
Body: black seal
Hackle: palmered claret cock
Rib: oval silver
Throat: bronze mallard
'Legs': 2 strands each side blue Flashabou
Plus jungle cock of course

Yeah it certainly has everything
Quite an interesting idea with the blue flashabou, its funny as its probably the only colour that I dont have of the stuff which always seems to be the way.
