Pictures are like night and day compared to yesterday well done.
I take it that you put your mallard on in sections as many do where as I prefer to roll it around the fly in one go.

Thanks for info will give it a go wrapping around fancy trying a Daddie muddler next what do u think or am i being to eager as only another 8 weeks to go then a,m going to bash the s-it out of our club waters

Photography is a great improvement, flies look improved as well, although difficult to judge based on the previous picture.

This is a technique I've struggled with, I now do it in sections, which looks OK but I think I could get a better finish if I learnt to spin it round in one go. Any tips on how to do this dabhoy?

I think the thing I should say is work away at perfecting one pattern 1st but what I am saying is go for it as tying is about enjoyment and not turning yourself in to a robot as your tying will improve as you go along.
