Look good mate. I would have left the head hackle out till you get the hang of doing the mallard.

Not bad at all Bert
Pictures are like night and day compared to yesterday well done.
I take it that you put your mallard on in sections as many do where as I prefer to roll it around the fly in one go.

Thanks for info will give it a go wrapping around fancy trying a Daddie muddler next what do u think or am i being to eager as only another 8 weeks to go then a,m going to bash the s-it out of our club waters

Photography is a great improvement, flies look improved as well, although difficult to judge based on the previous picture.

I think the thing I should say is work away at perfecting one pattern 1st but what I am saying is go for it as tying is about enjoyment and not turning yourself in to a robot as your tying will improve as you go along.
