Here's a trio with long lazy drifts, warm winds and an 11 foot wand in mind

Body Hackle: 1 peach cock and 1 hen sunburst hackles wound together.
Cloak: Bronze Mallard dyed orange

All very nice Rob.
Like the look of number 2 specifically. Mirage seemed to work a treat last year on my club loch, not sure why so well last year and not so effective years before?

Very tasty Rob, but serious question, why would you consider the first fly not to be a Dabbler.
What's the defining thing between the two? is it lack of dressing or colour or tail etc.
