A Dabbler, just for Busbiegaz

Tail: Orkney Peach Cock
Rib: Gold wire
Body: Mirage
Body Hackle: 1 peach cock and 1 hen sunburst hackles wound together.
Cloak: Bronze Mallard dyed orange
Cheeks: JC splits
Thread: Red UTC

Like the look of number 2 specifically. Mirage seemed to work a treat last year on my club loch, not sure why so well last year and not so effective years before?

Very tasty Rob, but serious question, why would you consider the first fly not to be a Dabbler.
What's the defining thing between the two? is it lack of dressing or colour or tail etc.

It has been stated you have to spend 10,000 hours woz to reach the highest level in anything.
