Snowbee Flymate Vice Help

I recently bought a Snowbee Flymate vice and I'm having some trouble getting it set up the way I'd like it.

The problem I'm having is with the rotary part of the vice, I just cant get it as tight as I would like it.

I either set it too tight and its hard to use or its too loose and wont stay at the position I leave it at and wobbles a bit when I rotate it.

The instructions I got with the vice aren't very helpful so if anyone could tell me how to fix this I'd appreciate it.
