Default Deer Hair

Hello All, When cutting the deer hair to shape would a nose trimmer work as I'm allergic to the small pieces of hair in the air when cutting with scissors and my eyes start to stream, or are scissors the best for the job thankyou.

Regards Robbie

I think trimmers create more small airborn particles rather than less, so I doubt this would work for you...

Vacuum cleaner hose behind the fly might work but would be really noisy!

Try wetting the deer hair slightly before you cut it and should stop it flying around. It probally will stick to the sissors.

As said trimmers will make it worse. Scissors or a curved razor blade are usually the best.

Thanks green pete I'll try wetting the deer hair or tie them up and give them to my mate to do the cutting.

Leave the deer hair alone. It's not worth the misery you will suffer. You really don't want to be taking anti-histamines if you don't have to.
