I keep coming across patterns which mention using Red Ibis substitute, i can not seem to find where to obtain any.

Dyed red (crimson or scarlet) swan or goose, readily available everywhere

An Ibis visits our garden sometimes, apparently escaped from a wildlife park. Too pretty to get the rifle out! Its like a small flamingo a deep pink colour.

Veniard's have done it for as long as I can remember, i.e. over 40 years. It's dyed goose cossette feathers & most often seen tied as the tail on a Butcher.
