Nice twist on an old favourite, Steve.
Any chance of an SBS?

Ade.

Nice fly, the split wing just takes the fly to a new level

I don't tie small stuff but they look good and your ties are always well photographed!

Lovely looking tie Steve
Just one query should the body not be more tapered as I dont tie many dry flies ?

Very nice Steve.
The Adams is a great fly. Tie it small for midge and olives, big for the mayfly

Cheers guys. An interesting twist indeed. Tricky little buggers to tie as the post is fiddly and ends up being rather chunky (and to Dabhoy's point, if you don't judge the length right you run out of room to fatten the thorax). Still, a fun challenge once you've got the hang of paraduns. Easy to tie scruffy but hard to get the Wulff wing tips nice and neat.

SBS from Charlie Craven here. I just used the Adams colour scheme with mixed grizzly and brown feather for tail and hackle.

Dabhoy. It should be tapered and is. Should be more so. I just didn't get any light underneath the fly and the perspective also makes it look skinnier in the photo than it is. Also, note the point I made above. Will have to keep practicing them. ;-)
