What rubber have you used for the legs?
Everything I seem to find is to thick for my liking.

I like spanflex in small and medium Graham. The ginger is a nice colour and the flat profile of the stuff works better than round rubber I feel. Japanese nymph leg also makes a fine job, although I've never been altogether confident with the more rigid nature of the material - looks good though if that's yer thing.

The clingers are nicely tied, although I would take a bit of length off the legs and put the heat kinks in closer to the body (I know this sounds a bit picky, but the pattern is after all a semi-realistic one).

Point taken northcountryangler, i was just using a heated sewing needle and the eyes arnt what they used to be, it not untill you see the picts that you notice little details. Thanks b.

Hey full marks for the heated needle method - that must take some patience. Have you tried a cauteriser? That way you can spend hours trying to get the balance of partly used batteries right so you don't just burn the legs off when you get within 5mm of the feckers!

That pattern has cost me hours of frustration at the vice. Anyone who goes to the trouble has my respect!
