Default Any recomendations for fly tying materials?

Hi All,

Vice and fly tying bible rec'd for Christmas. All that remains is to get some materials and to start tying!

Any recomendations for online retailers?

Cheers

You'll get loads of different opinions, I'm sure.

Of the "big boys", I've found Lakeland the most reliable for getting the order correct and delivered promptly. Their website also says what is in stock and what is not and is pretty accurate.

As for smaller operators: For feathers, hard to look past Cookshill (best to phone in your order). Toby at FunkyFlyTying has also done me well, as have Fords Fly Tying. All three are members here. I'm sure any of them will happy to offer advice.

Hi

You will never go wrong with Steve(Cookshill), Neil (angus angling), Toby(funkyflytying). All have given me brilliant service.

Cheers

Phil at Spiderplus always gets very high recommendations, both for materials and friendly advice.

Cooks Hill and Fly Tying Boutique have been good for me.
