Default when the olives hatch

tyed these for when the olives are about,took thses with my new camera which i dont know how to work properly yet.Click the image to open in full size.

same again,can't get the pictures right these flies look better than than on camera

Nice wee fly Craigie, the only thing that bothers me is that the body will cut though the surface and end up as an emerger. Not necessarily a problem if that's what you're after but not ideal for a dry. Personally I'd go for a dubbed body that'll take floatant and a comparadun wing if I was after a robust dry pattern. I dislike cdc, but that's just me.

hi midlander,this has been my number one dry fly this season,a little gink on the under side of the tails & it rides high until it's munched by the trout,i accept your thoughts on this however,atb craig

there are a few guys on here that sell river flies,i don't know about top quality right enough i haven't seen any,sure some of the guys that have purchased some will keep you right,i tye my own so don't need to buy.atb craig.
