Sorry! The post topic should read "Ice Dubbing"!!!!

Fine, it seems a bit different to some of my old stock of it which is much finer in texture. Maybe they're using a new source with an old name ?

It looks like it would be a usefull dubbing for loch-style wet flies.Currently,I add chopped lite-brite or glister to seal fur for a similar effect.

i think its an old source with an old name. the current orvis catalog and website doesnt carry an antron/hare dubbing. antron fibers wouldnt be flat as shown or pearlish in color

Oh my gosh! You're right!!! I had 3 Orvis dubbing dispensers together. It IS ice dubbing. Sorry!! Good catch
