Default Fatal Mistake

Bought a £5 ceramic bobbin holder of flee bay and it cuts my thread better than my scissors.

Can someone recommend a tried and tested ceramic bobbin holder that i can get please....to safe me wasting money and ending up with a box full of *****,

Thank you in advance Tony...........

Cheers W/P, tried that but it still cuts the thread mate, i think because it is a cheep old tat, that there is an edge on the ceramic tube, but so fine i can not feel it.

Thank you Tony..........

I use the Griffin ones. They are available in most places for about £10- £12.

The Tiemco one's are great, very simple and can take a variety of spool sizes.

Tony, I had a couple like that, just break the ceramic off, and araldite a glass or brass bead in the top, works a treat, been using mine for two years and no probs.
Either that, or just get the metal fluted ones.
Steven.
