if its nail varnish .get some nail polish remover and use that ,if not you will probably want pure acetone for normal varnish .........

Take a look in your local £1 or equiv. shop. Don't use nail varnish thinners as it has "conditioning oils" in it & will not work as well as acetone or other pure similarly based thinners.

Hiya,

You can get thinners made by Veniards for about £1 (or so!). Handy to have around as my bottles of varnish always thicken before they are used up. Also handy (I have found) to have a couple of viscosities of varnish, but then I am a fussy bu**er! The pigmentation will probably not be diluted significantly if you use the other varnish as a thinner but it will probably not have too much of an impact on the visocisty because you are adding only a very small amount of additional thinners.

Andy
