sorry to pick this out ...but , that does look like lead?? with the way its marked when youve squeezed it to the shank , if it is lead its obviously bigger than a size 8 split shot which is illegal ,im uncertain as to how you would stand if caught fishing with it being fixed to the hook ,but then again shot is fixed to the line so both can be lost ,anything above size 8 must be of non lead material ,there is nothing that i know of that states its ok if its fixed to a hook as its still lead shot above the legal requirement ,just trying to save you and others some hassle if caught with it ??? but EA laws state ..
