Default Whiting Hackle - Peacock

Come across a Whiting Hackle Peacock shade cape and am wondering if anyone has used one?

The colours don't quite come across when copying from 'puter to 'puter and this is the best I can come up with............

Click the image to open in full size.

Be interested to learn if anyone has tyed flies in this shade and if so what?

Imagination not working as well as it should this morning!

Chris, I Think it would look nice blended into a sooty bumble, or maybe an olive bumble.

Some of the bigger hackle feathers for tail and throats on a black daiwl back might be nice twist.

Your a hell of a tying tart my man! glad that I've broken my addiction, haven't bought any materials for some time now!

Like your imagination.

What is all this about "broken my addiction"?

You need a trip to the Priory to cure tying tartness!

Dabhoy

You have a family. They need a Christmas.

Liking that colour too, would be interested to know where it was sourced.

A couple of Whiting Peacock Capes turned up today courtesy of Jim's Fly Company based in Montana and the total charge by Customs/PO was £11.89. I have not queried the charge. By the way the capes look magnificent.
