Default Sparkle Deer Hair Parachute Flav

Well,

It's winter up there in Yellowstone. I can't go fishing there till June/July. So........ spending a lot of time playing around with different possible patterns in the hopes of being there for the Green Drakes or the Small Western Green Drakes (Flavs).

This is one I came up with today (as with ANY pattern, its probably already a mainstream fly, but I was not aware of it).

Let me know what you think!

Also tied this pattern this morning.

Very nice fly. What material have you used for the tail?

It is actually supposed to represent a trailing shuck. The material is zelon.
