Default Beginners Fly Swap - Number 4 - Small Flies

Fly swap open to all. 10 small flies of your choice. I've not "run" one of these before so do bear with me.

By small flies I'm talking size 16 and smaller, although aimed at beginners this is open to anyone who wants to get involved and join in.

I'll be doing 10 small midge style flies.

Do let me know what you would be interesting in submitting.

Good effort, count me in. I'll let you know what I'm tying when I get home and I've worked out how small the sausages I call fingers will allow me to tie.

You can count me in too. I will probably tie some Jassid's & Griffiths Gnat's. If I can't find the Jungle Cock, then maybe some Trico Poly Wing Spinner's, down to a size 26.
Fingers crossed for many entries. Happy tying.

Whoops, a dilema already. Whilst I was typing mine out the above post came before me with a varient of Griffiths Gnat. Shall I change mine, I'm ok with that if I need to. Pls advise.

Better tell us the start by date and flies in to you date. Also, maybe, how many you intend to have in the swap.

Chris

Hi Chris, I will try to 'rise' to the challenge, and I will tie the Trico Spinner, leaving the Griffiths Gnat to you. A neat pattern. Best, Paul.

Hi,

I'd like to take part if I may, I propose tying up a Deer Hair Klinkhammer since I just got a patch of Deer Hair in the post today

How do the rules around deadlines and the like work?

Thanks,
Lee

Paul you are a Gent thanks. I only ordered the stuff to tie some GG's 24 hours ago (before this swap was up) .

I'd like to have a go at this. I haven't decided what I'll tie yet, but as I'm mad busy for now I'll have time to decide before I start.

Maybe I'll do a CDC emerger of some sort.

SharkeyP
